"We reserve your time exclusively for you — our therapists hold that space and turn away other clients to honor your appointment."
1. OVERVIEW
By booking a service, submitting your contact info, or using this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. APPOINTMENTS & CANCELLATIONS
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your appointment.
Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will result in a 100% charge of the appointment cost.
No-shows will result in forfeiture of your deposit and full payment of the appointment.
3. CANCELLATION POLICY
Because our therapists reserve your time exclusively and turn away other clients to hold it, we require advance notice for all cancellations.
More than 24 hours notice → No charge
Less than 24 hours notice → 100% of appointment cost
You are always welcome to reschedule at no charge as long as it is done more than 5 hours before your appointment.
4. RESCHEDULING POLICY
First reschedule with at least 5 hours notice → No charge
Second reschedule within 24 hours → 50% of appointment cost
5. NO-SHOW POLICY
A no-show occurs when a client does not attend their appointment without prior notice. We will text you 5 minutes after your start time and call after 15 minutes. If we are unable to reach you, your card on file will be charged 100% of the appointment cost.
As a one-time courtesy, first-time no-shows (new or returning clients) may reschedule without an additional charge. A second no-show will be charged in full with no courtesy reschedule.
6. REFUNDS
If eligible for a refund, you may choose:
Account credit — Full amount added to your account, no fees, confirmation sent by email
Card refund — Funds returned to your original payment method, minus a 3.5% processing fee (charged by our payment processor, not by us). Please allow 5–7 business days.
7. SERVICE DISCLAIMERS
We provide therapeutic and cosmetic spa services only.
Results may vary per person.
Clients must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or recent treatments that could affect their session.
8. AGE POLICY
Clients must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by a legal guardian for certain treatments.
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on our website, social media, and branding are the property of The Body Temple Spa and may not be copied or distributed without permission.
10. COMMUNICATION & CONSENT
By submitting your phone number or email, you:
Agree to receive appointment confirmations, marketing, promotions, and updates.
Understand that message frequency varies, and message/data rates may apply.
Can opt out of text messages at any time by replying "STOP."
11. LIABILITY
We are not liable for:
Adverse reactions due to undisclosed medical conditions
Personal property loss during your visit
Any damages caused directly or indirectly as a consequence of your visit
Any repercussions caused by applying any recommendation made by The Body Temple Spa and its representatives
12. PAYMENT DISPUTES
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us directly. Allow 3–4 business days for our team to review. If a double charge is confirmed, we will correct it immediately — please allow 5–7 business days to reflect in your account.
For disputes filed through your bank on a completed service, please note we retain all service records, payment confirmations, and appointment documentation.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

When you book, a real person prepares and waits for you, and other clients are turned away to honor your appointment. We look forward to caring for you. 💕
15. THE BODY TEMPLE ACADEMY & PROGRAMS
These terms also apply to all courses, certifications, workshops, coaching programs, memberships, digital resources, live events, group calls, practical evaluations, and educational materials offered by The Body Temple Academy, The Body Temple Spa, Lalita Sanchez, and their instructors, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates.
By enrolling in or accessing any Academy offering, you agree to these Terms and any additional policies shown on the applicable enrollment or checkout page.
16. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY
All Academy programs, coaching, readings, demonstrations, recommendations, and materials are provided for educational, informational, spiritual, and personal-development purposes only.
Nothing provided constitutes medical diagnosis or treatment, mental-health treatment, legal advice, financial advice, or individualized healthcare advice. Astrology and medical-astrology content is provided solely for educational, spiritual, and entertainment purposes.
Participants are responsible for consulting appropriately licensed professionals before making medical, financial, legal, business, or other significant decisions.
17. PROFESSIONAL SCOPE OF PRACTICE
Enrollment in or completion of an Academy program does not authorize a participant to perform services outside their professional license, certification, training, or legally permitted scope of practice.
Each participant is solely responsible for understanding and complying with the laws, regulations, licensing requirements, insurance requirements, sanitation standards, and professional rules applicable in their state or jurisdiction.
The Body Temple Academy does not provide legal authorization to practice and is not responsible for services performed by a participant before, during, or after completing a program.
18. CERTIFICATES, CONTINUING EDUCATION & COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
A certificate of completion or continuing-education credit is awarded only when the participant satisfies all stated requirements, which may include attendance, coursework, examinations, hands-on practice, video submissions, case studies, and practical skills evaluations.
Enrollment and payment do not guarantee successful completion, certification, continuing-education credit, professional licensure, employment, insurance eligibility, or acceptance by any licensing board, employer, professional organization, or third party.
Participants are responsible for confirming whether a program satisfies the requirements of their licensing board or professional organization before enrolling.
19. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS OR EARNINGS
The Body Temple Academy does not guarantee any particular health, personal, professional, business, financial, career, client, or income result.
Testimonials, examples, case studies, revenue figures, and participant experiences are illustrative only and do not promise or represent that another participant will achieve the same outcome. Results depend on many factors, including effort, experience, market conditions, compliance, skill, and individual circumstances.
20. PROGRAM PAYMENTS, PAYMENT PLANS & ACCESS
All program fees must be paid according to the terms presented at enrollment. Payment plans are payment arrangements for the full program price and are not month-to-month subscriptions unless expressly stated otherwise.
Participants remain responsible for all scheduled installments after receiving access, except where cancellation or refund rights are required by law or expressly provided in writing by The Body Temple Academy.
Failure to complete a payment may result in suspension of course access, coaching, evaluations, certificates, or other program benefits. Participants are responsible for maintaining an accurate payment method and billing information.
21. PROGRAM CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
The cancellation and refund policy displayed on the applicable program enrollment or checkout page governs that purchase.
Unless a different written policy is provided, deposits, digital products, downloadable materials, completed coaching sessions, completed group calls, evaluations, and programs that have already been accessed or started are nonrefundable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Failure to attend, participate, complete coursework, submit an evaluation, or use available program resources does not create a right to a refund.
If The Body Temple Academy cancels a program and does not provide a reasonable replacement, transfer, credit, or rescheduled date, any refund due will be limited to the amount paid for the canceled portion.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights provided by applicable law.
22. DIGITAL ACCESS & TECHNOLOGY
Program access is personal to the enrolled participant and may not be shared, transferred, resold, copied, or used by another person.
The Body Temple Academy does not guarantee uninterrupted access to websites, applications, learning portals, video platforms, payment processors, or other third-party technology. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security, updates, payment issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Participants are responsible for having compatible equipment, reliable internet access, and the basic technology necessary to participate.
23. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & LIMITED LICENSE
All Academy curricula, manuals, protocols, videos, recordings, photographs, forms, evaluations, graphics, workbooks, presentations, trademarks, methods, and other materials are owned by or licensed to The Body Temple Academy and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Enrollment grants the participant a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the materials for their own education and lawful professional practice.
Participants may not reproduce, record, upload, publish, teach, sell, sublicense, distribute, create competing trainings from, or otherwise commercially exploit Academy materials without prior written permission.
Unauthorized use may result in immediate termination of access without refund and may subject the participant to legal action.
24. RECORDINGS, PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY
Classes, coaching calls, demonstrations, and evaluations may be recorded for education, quality assurance, participant access, safety, and documentation. Participants will be informed when recording occurs.
Participants must protect the privacy of classmates, models, clients, and instructors and may not record, screenshot, share, publish, or disclose another person’s image, health information, personal story, business information, or comments without permission.
Use of a participant’s name, image, voice, testimonial, or results for public marketing requires separate permission where required by law.
25. HANDS-ON TRAINING & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Hands-on programs may involve physical touch, body positioning, massage techniques, skincare products, equipment, demonstrations, and practice between participants or models.
By voluntarily participating, each participant acknowledges that these activities may involve risks, including temporary discomfort, soreness, skin irritation, allergic reaction, dizziness, bruising, or aggravation of a preexisting condition.
Participants must disclose relevant health conditions, allergies, injuries, pregnancy, medications, limitations, and contraindications before participating and must stop immediately if they experience discomfort or believe an activity is unsafe.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants voluntarily assume the ordinary and inherent risks of participating in hands-on training. This provision does not waive liability that cannot legally be waived.
26. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
Participants must behave professionally, respectfully, safely, and lawfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, unsafe practice, dishonesty, intellectual-property violations, confidentiality breaches, disruption, intoxication, or conduct that places another person at risk may result in removal from a program or community.
The Body Temple Academy may suspend or terminate participation or access for a material violation of these Terms. Refund eligibility, if any, will be determined by the applicable program policy and governing law.
27. PRODUCTS, ORDERS & RETURNS
Product descriptions, prices, availability, promotions, and packaging may change without notice. We may limit quantities, reject or cancel an order, or correct an obvious pricing or listing error. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged for the canceled item.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information. Estimated delivery dates are not guarantees. The Body Temple Spa and The Body Temple Academy are not responsible for carrier delays, incorrect addresses supplied by the customer, unattended deliveries, or loss occurring after confirmed delivery, except as required by law.
Product returns, exchanges, final-sale items, opened products, hygiene-sensitive products, and return-shipping responsibilities are governed by the return policy displayed at checkout or provided with the purchase. Any posted return policy will be honored, and nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
28. PRODUCT USE, ALLERGIES & ADVERSE REACTIONS
Customers must read and follow all product labels, ingredients, warnings, storage instructions, expiration information, patch-testing directions, and manufacturer instructions.
Individual results may vary. Products may cause irritation, sensitivity, allergic reactions, or other unexpected effects. Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredients, disclosing known allergies when appropriate, conducting recommended patch tests, and consulting a qualified healthcare professional before using a product if pregnant, nursing, taking medication, managing a medical condition, or uncertain about suitability.
If irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek appropriate medical care. Products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease unless specifically authorized and labeled for that purpose under applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for injury or damage caused by misuse, failure to follow directions, undisclosed allergies or medical conditions, unauthorized combinations with other products, alteration, improper storage, or use contrary to the product label.
29. THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS & SERVICES
Some products, platforms, links, payment processors, instructors, guest experts, manufacturers, shipping carriers, and services may be provided by independent third parties.
The Body Temple Spa and The Body Temple Academy do not control and are not responsible for a third party’s acts, omissions, availability, policies, content, warranties, representations, or performance, except to the extent responsibility cannot legally be excluded.
Any manufacturer warranty or third-party remedy is governed by that provider’s terms.
30. RELEASE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Body Temple Spa, The Body Temple Academy, Lalita Sanchez, and their owners, instructors, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost income, lost opportunities, business interruption, loss of data, or reputational harm arising from services, programs, products, recommendations, or participation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total cumulative liability arising from a specific service, program, or product will not exceed the amount actually paid by the claimant for that specific service, program, or product.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited, including liability arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or other non-waivable legal obligations.
31. INDEMNIFICATION
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants and customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Body Temple Spa, The Body Temple Academy, Lalita Sanchez, and their owners, instructors, employees, contractors, representatives, and affiliates from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:
A participant’s performance of services or operation of their own business
Practice outside a participant’s lawful scope, license, competence, or insurance coverage
Misuse or unauthorized distribution of Academy materials
Violation of another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other rights
Misuse, alteration, resale, or improper application of a product
Violation of these Terms or applicable law
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from conduct for which indemnification cannot legally be required.
32. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations, or inability to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, illness, public-health emergencies, utility or internet outages, labor disruptions, government actions, transportation interruptions, venue closures, platform failures, or similar events.
When reasonably possible, we may provide a rescheduled date, substitute instructor, alternative format, account credit, or other appropriate remedy.
33. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & VENUE
Before filing a legal claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute by providing written notice describing the issue and allowing 30 days for a response and informal resolution.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, any legal action arising from these Terms must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Athens-Clarke County, Georgia.
34. SEVERABILITY & ORDER OF PRECEDENCE
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If a specific program agreement, product policy, consent form, enrollment page, or checkout page conflicts with these general Terms, the more specific written terms will govern that particular purchase or participation.
35. ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE
Clicking an acceptance box, submitting payment, signing electronically, accessing program materials, attending a program, or purchasing or using a product constitutes electronic acceptance of these Terms to the extent permitted by law. Participants and customers acknowledge that they had an opportunity to review these Terms before completing their purchase or participation.
